Craig County Jail Roster Overview
The official county custody channel is the Craig County Jail inmate search from the Craig County Sheriff's Office. The page states that the roster is updated hourly, sorted by booking date, and searchable by name. It covers current jail inmates at the Craig County Jail, not people who have already moved into ODOC state custody or federal/immigration custody. The roster uses booking cards that open individual inmate profiles.
The sheriff roster is the fastest place to check a new or current local booking. It should be paired with the daily booking report for recent bookings, Oklahoma VINELink for custody notification, and court search tools for formal case filings. No Craig-specific sheriff app was confirmed in the research, so the web roster, phone line, records policy, and state or federal locators remain the supported channels.
Search Craig County Inmate Records
Start with the sheriff roster when the person may be in the county jail. The current roster shows booking cards, photos when present, booking date, name, and profile links. If the arrest just happened, the name may not appear until jail staff finish intake and the public list refreshes. If a person was released or transferred, the sheriff page itself points readers to VINELink.
- Open the Craig County Jail inmate search.
- Use the Search by Name field to filter the list by first or last name.
- Open a booking card to view the inmate profile.
- Review the booking date, inmate ID, sex, race, age, residence city, charges, mugshot, and VINE link.
- Check VINELink, call the jail, or request records when no roster match appears.
The sheriff inmate search page shows the name filter, roster cards, VINE notice, mugshots, and pagination.
Those roster cards are current jail records, so a missing result does not prove the person has no court case or no state custody record.
Craig County Roster Search Fields
The Craig County roster is less complicated than many statewide portals. It has a text name filter, booking-card links, pagination, and a VINELink fallback. The public page does not provide a separate facility dropdown because the roster is for the Craig County Jail. The observed public endpoints returned profile and list fields, but the official user path is the sheriff web page.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search by Name... | Text input | No | Free text filters current inmates by name. Research observed the API filter parameter. |
| Booking card link | Clickable card | Not applicable | Opens the full public inmate profile by BookingID. |
| Pagination | Page controls | No | First, previous, page number, next, and last controls move through roster pages. |
| Search VINE Link Now | Outbound button | No | Fallback when the person is not found, released, or transferred. |
Craig County Inmate Profile Fields
A Craig County inmate profile is a custody record from the jail. It can help confirm that a person is in local custody and show the booking charges entered by the jail. It does not replace a court docket. The District Attorney may file charges with different wording, amend charges, decline charges, or resolve counts in court later.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| BookingID | Internal public URL key used to open the profile. |
| InmateID | Person identifier used in the profile and VINE notification link. |
| BookingNum | Booking number, with a sample format like 26-000360. |
| BookingDate | Date and time the person was booked into the jail. |
| Sex, race, DOB, age | Demographic fields. The public page renders age rather than full DOB. |
| Classification | Security classification in the API. One sample showed Maximum security. |
| Pic | Booking-photo filename when a mugshot is present. |
| Charges | Text list of booking charges entered for the jail record. |
Fields not shown in the inspected public profile included bond amount, bond type, height, weight, housing unit, arresting agency, judge, warrant number, and court date. For case status, use court records after the booking appears.
Current and Released Inmates
Current county custody starts with the sheriff roster. Recent intake can also appear in the daily booking report, which is printable and includes booking photos and charges. Released or transferred people may not remain visible on the current roster. In those cases, VINELink can help with custody notifications, and the sheriff's records policy explains how to request available booking reports or accident reports.
The Craig County records policy says most requests must be in person and in writing at the sheriff's office. The requester must give a name, contact information, and a clear description. Jail booking reports and accident reports may be requested by email. The same policy says other requests are not accepted by phone, fax, U.S. Mail, or email.
The sheriff records page lays out the local Oklahoma Open Records Act process for jail booking reports and other law-enforcement records.
That records process is the fallback when the current jail roster or daily booking report does not provide the needed booking record.
County State Federal Inmate Lookup
Use the custody system that matches the person's status. Craig County Jail records are for local jail custody. ODOC records are for sentenced state inmates and fugitives. BOP records are for federal sentenced inmates. ICE ODLS is for immigration detainee location. U.S. Marshals custody can exist before a federal sentence and may not appear as a BOP facility placement.
| Custody type | Where to look | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| County jail | Craig County inmate search | Current local jail bookings, charges, mugshots, and VINE links. |
| State prison | ODOC offender lookup | Sentenced Oklahoma corrections custody and state fugitives. |
| Federal sentenced custody | BOP inmate locator | Federal inmates incarcerated from 1982 to present. |
| Immigration custody | ICE ODLS | Immigration detention location when ICE has custody. |
Lookup distinction: The Craig County jail roster does not become the ODOC, BOP, or ICE locator after a transfer.
Craig County Jail Facilities
Two facilities matter for Craig County inmate records, but they are not the same type of custody. The Craig County Jail is local, sheriff-operated custody. Northeast Oklahoma Community Corrections Center is state-run ODOC custody for sentenced adult men. A person may move from one system to another after court action, but each facility uses its own lookup process.

Craig County Booking Process
Craig County did not publish a detailed intake policy, but the roster and booking report show what becomes public after intake. A typical booking moves from arrest or warrant pickup to jail intake, identity collection, booking-number creation, photo capture, charge entry, classification, and placement or release processing. The sample profile confirmed BookingID, InmateID, BookingNum, BookingDate, DOB, sex, race, residence fields, classification, charges, and mugshot filename.
First appearance, bond, and formal charging happen through the courts after the jail booking. Bond may be cash, surety, recognizance, property or security if allowed, or unavailable because of a hold or no-bond order. The jail profile inspected did not show bond amount or bond type, so users should confirm bond and case status with the jail, court clerk, or court docket rather than assuming the roster has every release detail.
Craig County Visitation Schedule
Craig County Jail visitation uses Prodigy/InmateSales video visitation. Visitors create a Prodigy account, fund a prepaid or PIN debit account, and receive an SMS link when accepting a video call. On-site visits use a Prodigy kiosk in the jail visitation room, while off-site visits use the Prodigy website or app.
| Visit type | Schedule | Provider or location | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| On-site video | 8:30 AM-4:15 PM, Monday-Friday | Prodigy kiosk in jail visitation room | Official jail visitation page lists this local kiosk option. |

Craig County Jail Records Terms
Roster terms can be easy to confuse because the jail, court, and corrections systems use related but separate records. These plain-language definitions help separate the custody record from the court case and any later prison record.
- Booking charge
- The charge entered when the person is booked. The prosecutor's filed charge may later change.
- Remand
- A court order that keeps a person in custody.
- PR bond
- Personal-recognizance release ordered by a court without a commercial bondsman.
- Detainer
- A hold from another agency, such as another county, DOC, federal custody, or ICE.
- Disposition
- The outcome of a court charge, such as dismissal, plea, conviction, deferred result, or acquittal.
Note: Verify current custody with the jail before sending funds, scheduling a visit, or relying on a booking record.
