Craig County Jail Mugshots Overview

A booking photo appears beside other jail record fields. The profile and report do not present the photo as a stand-alone public gallery. They connect the image to jail intake data. The inspected public profile showed the photo with name, sex, race, age, residing city, inmate ID, booking date and time, charges, and action buttons for Web Deposit, Commissary, and Inmate Notifications.

Craig County Mugshot Public Records
Oklahoma's Open Records Act governs local law-enforcement records. Craig County's records policy cites 51 O.S. Section 24A.5 for prompt, reasonable access while allowing procedures that protect records and office operations. Official Oklahoma law at 51 O.S. Section 24A.8 requires law-enforcement agencies to make specified law-enforcement records available if kept, including arrestee descriptions and jail registers or booking data.

Oklahoma sources have treated mugshots and booking photographs as arrestee-description records. That does not mean every photo must remain online forever, and it does not mean a public website can be used for employment, tenant, credit, insurance, or other FCRA-covered screening.
What Craig County Publishes
The sheriff's public pages publish current and recent booking-photo access, but they do not publish an older booking-photo gallery, a guaranteed retention period, or a separate removal policy. The current roster covers current jail custody. The daily booking report covers recent bookings. A full historical photo search depends on available records and the sheriff's records policy.

Request Craig County Booking Photos

How Long Mugshots Stay Online
Craig County did not publish an exact online retention period for booking photos in the sources reviewed. The current roster is built around current custody, and the daily booking report is a recent-booking feed. The research describes the report as recent or 72-hour style, but the county did not publish a single rule saying exactly when every mugshot leaves the public page.

Removal and Expungement Limits
Oklahoma expungement may seal or restrict qualifying criminal records under 22 O.S. Section 18. That process is handled through the court system, not by changing a jail roster page informally. If a case is dismissed, expunged, or sealed, the court order and the record-holding agency control what happens next. The research did not locate a Craig County Sheriff's Office policy promising automatic mugshot removal after dismissal or expungement.
Commercial mugshot-publishing or pay-to-remove sites are not official sources and should not be treated as public-record authorities. Federal and ICE Mugshot Differences
Federal BOP and U.S. Marshals custody do not provide a public county-style mugshot roster. The BOP locator returns federal custody fields such as name, register number, age, race, sex, release date, and location, not a public booking-photo gallery. U.S. Marshals pretrial custody is also not the same as the county jail roster. Craig County is in the Northern District of Oklahoma for U.S. Marshals purposes.
ICE ODLS is custody-location oriented. It should be used to find immigration detention status, not Craig County booking photos. No official ICE facility was found inside Craig County. If a person leaves county custody on an ICE or federal hold, the sheriff roster may stop being the right source, and the appropriate federal locator becomes the next step.
